FAQ'S
Requirements
The
children must have permission from their parents to have their faces painted.
Balance of fee to be paid on the day of the
party.
A responsible adult must be present at the party.
How much do you charge?
It varies depending on quiet or busy times of the year. We consider how far we have to travel, how long the job will
take, and how many children you want us to paint. So it is best to contact us so we can work something out. We
enjoy the job so much we try to keep my prices competitive because we want to be out there painting.
What if my child has sensitive skin?
You are the best judge of your child, but in general, if a child has a rash, eczema or broken skin it is not good to paint
the skin. A skin test can be completed or another option is to paint the hand, arms or feet. The under threes love this as
they can see what is happening.
Do you paint young children?
We do not paint the faces of children under the age of three. The skin of a young child is not really suitable. The sponges
and brush movement, however relaxing for us, can be tickly to a young child, which makes it difficult to produce a painted
face that you would be pleased with. Under threes do like to have their hands or feet painted as they can see what is happening.
How many children do you paint an hour?
We are happy to paint as many children as you want, but the greater number of children, the less time we have
to spend on each face. This will impact on the level of detail we can achieve. We are probably at our best when we paint
10-15 faces an hour. The more complicated the design the longer to paint. We have a broad range of simple to extravagant designs.

Do you photograph the children?
With your permission only. We think it is only polite to ask for permission. The main reason face painters ask is
that we need examples of our work to help us continually improve and also to have a record of faces that we are pleased with.
